- General Dental Assisting focuses on a wide range of clinical duties and procedures.
- General Dental includes all specialty practices. Orthodontics (braces), Oral Surgery(tooth removal and Implants), endodontics(root canals).
- In order to Become and EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) you must work in a general office to complete your clinical requirements. Orthodontic focused training alone will not give you the experience you need to be a successful EFDA.
