Mastering The Basics - 10 week Hybrid Dental Assisting Program

This is the entry level program for beginners. Start here, with 5 weeks of textbook and Instructor lead online presentations. The student will participate in a virtual classroom while learning the following information:.

  • Anatomy and Tooth numbering

  • Dental Practice Ethics

  • Infection control policies

  • Dental charting

  • Dentrix training

  • Patient comfort

  • Oral Radiology

  • Resume Building and Interviewing skills

  • disease transmission and safety in a blood borne environment

Upon Completion of the 5 week online instruction, the student will be scheduled for the clinical portion of the program.

ADAPT Dental Assisting Graduates will receive a Dental Assisting Certificate from the Academy of Dental Assisting and Professional Training, an Ohio Radiology Certificate, and a two year CPR certificate through the American Red Cross.
